Personal Contract Hire, PCH - Yorkshire Fleet

The Personal Contract Hire funding method is basically contract hire for the private individual, hence the name Personal Contract Hire. It is known by most individuals as “leasing a car”, or a PCH contract. The customer, whilst not owning the vehicle, benefits from Yorkshire Fleet’s buying power to drive down the cost of the monthly rental.

At the end of the contract you have 2 options:

1. You can hand the vehicle back (Collection is free from any UK mainland address)
2. You can request a quote to extend the contract for a further 6 or 12 month period.

Your Yorkshire Fleet account manager will contact you 6 months prior to the contract end date to discuss your requirements. If you require a replacement vehicle, we will coordinate the collection of your current vehicle to correspond with the delivery of your new one.

Things to remember

The cost to early terminate the contract can be expensive.
If the customer goes over their agreed mileage allowance, excess mileage will be charged for each mile over that is stated in their contract.
The customer must have a fully comprehensive vehicle insurance.
The customer must look after the vehicles and return in a well maintained condition, if not they will be charged for any damage over and above as stated in the ‘Fair Wear and Tear Guide’.
