The German car behemoth BMW, has confirmed that the brand will have a fully autonomous vehicle range in production by 2021. The “iNext” series which pays reference to BMW’s centenary celebrations in 2016 called “The Next 100 Years”, will also be the first in BMW’s wide repertoire to be fully-electric.
BMW’s announcement comes a little under a year after their announced collaboration with tech giants Intel & Mobileeye. The creative alliance was conceived so that BMW could push forward technologically speaking, with their planned autonomy programme.
