Are you thinking about getting an electric car?
Switching to electric can seem daunting with all the information available, but we’re here to simplify the process! Our partnership with Pod Point ensures that going electric is not only straight forward but also affordable.
If you’re considering leasing an electric vehicle with Yorkshire Fleet and want to learn more about installing a Pod Point charger, give us a call.
Alternatively, fill out your contact details using the short form available and a member of our team will be in touch!
What's the difference?
Tethered chargers have a cable permanently attached, so you’ll never have to think about where your cable is. You can simply park up and plug in. An untethered charger has a socket for you or your visitors to plug a separate cable into.
What's best for me?
As the tethered charger has a cable attached, there's no need to rummage around in your car or garage to find it, which is ideal if you lead a busy lifestyle.
If you already have your own charging cable, you might prefer a untethered charger as it's more cost-effective.
Non-standard charger installations may incur an additional cost, such as groundwork. Once your order is placed, we'll be in touch to better understand your requirements and produce a no-obligation quote for any additional works. If you decide not to proceed, you’ll receive a full refund.
A standard installation can be completed in as little as 2 hours. For non-standard installation, our team will advise you on what to expect.

The Pod Point App ensures you can make the most of your Solo home charger, such as Charge Scheduling and Solar and Grid modes.
However, if you simply wish to plug in and charge, you don't need to link your charger to the Pod Point App. Instead, it will charge whenever you plug in.
It can’t be connected to a 3-pin plug socket; the Solo charger needs to be connected to the main electrical supply so it can charge at a rate of 7kW. One of our Pod Point Experts will give you guidance on how and where the charger will be connected.
